Why Snack VS. Chef Is (Almost) A Perfect Cooking ShowBy Jonah WardellPublished Dec 24, 2022

Screen Rant Article

The stakes of Netflix's new cooking show, Snack VS. Chef, are extremely high. But just a few things hold it back from reality TV greatness.

Netflix’s latest foray into cooking challenges, Snack VS. Chef, provides an interesting competition that hits nearly every right note a food experience can on TV. The show dropped on the streaming service on November 30, and features comedians Hari Kondabolu and Megan Stalter as hosts. The show also includes professional judges, Helen Park, a culinary innovation specialist, and Ali Bouzari, who has a Ph.D. in Food Biochemistry. Each episode consists of two rounds; the first is a snack recreation round, and the second is an innovation round where the chefs make their own original snacks.
